Morson International are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to work for our leading engineering client based in Salisbury.

Your role as Maintenance Planner will be to create and maintain a planned maintenance schedule for my client's site to ensure that plant remains reliable, dependable and ready for action. You will analyse recordings from job cards to predict possible breakdowns and ensure spare parts are readily available for when needed.

In this role you will;

  • Produce and track all maintenance tasks for the site, providing regular reports on progress to the wider business
  • Develop and maintain KPI's for the department, ensuring that department employees and internal customers are aware of these
  • Record any breakdowns onto the appropriate system conducting a root cause analysis to obtain the reason for failure
  • Recommend and implement improvements to plant and buildings in order to improve quality, safety and cost
  • Lead maintenance meetings with the wider Maintenance and Operations team ensuring tasks are completed on time and in full

To be successful in this role you will hold a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar maintenance planning role and will be confident working in a manufacturing environment. The ability to use a CMMS system is essential (you will be using Movex in this role) as well as being PC literate. Above all else, you will have an understanding and appreciation of maintenance tasks; whether that was gained through experience or a time served apprenticeship as you will be working closely with this team throughout your day-to-day role.
