Maintenance Engineer - Re-Linking (x2)

Location: Portsmouth

Duration: 6 months

Rate: £31.50 per hour LTD

The successful candidates will possess knowledge of the fundamentals within the maintenance engineering discipline, including industry and MoD maintenance management tools and processes. They will also have good IT skills, particularly use of appropriate MoD and BAE Systems IS applications: UMMS, RCM Toolkit, TITANIUM, MS Office, MS Project, and Internet Explorer.

The role holders will have an understanding of ship and engineering maintenance / repair planning and delivery skills working under a sustained pressurised environment.

Proven Ability / Key Skills

Essential

• Knowledge of UMMS
• Knowledge of maintenance principles on warships
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Desirable

• Knowledge of RCM and/or FMEA / FMECA principles
• Knowledge of Product Breakdown Structures
• Knowledge of LSAR
