An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast moving high demand logistics team working for a large aerospace company based near Blackburn. The role of Logistics and Supply Chain Planner
is pivotal to the success of the team. By taking ownership of the remote goods receiving workload along with the allocating of parts this enables the procurement team to process payment to suppliers and achieve the goals set by the business.
Duties will involve;
- Good Receiving for direct deliveries on the LN (ERP) System
- Out bounding of Parts to the correct demands
- Resolving Goods Receiving queries
- Generation of AOG requests
Since the introduction of LN the Goods Receiving, Shipping & Out bounding process for direct delivered TFE has become more complicated. Combined with the LN system backlog has resulted in current resource being over stretched or being prioritised on other tasks supporting LM shortages. The team now have a significant backlog of Goods receiving and Invoice clearance resulting in significant supplier debt. This cannot be recovered with the current resource due to the volume.
The successful candidate will have previous goods receiving/logistics experience, will be able to prioritise and will have excellent communication skills. You will be a proficient user of MS Office packages.
