Morson International are currently recruiting an Logistics Planner for our client based at RAF Coningsby.

There is a requirement to support the Reduce to Produce (RTP) program and specifically the logistic element of these tasks. It will require the close scrutiny of both engineering and logistics documentation and ensure the flow of auditable paperwork does not impact on normal Typhoon operations. The successful candidate will have to demonstrate good attention to detail, both team and lone working experience and good communication skills.

The position offers an excellent opportunity to join a fast paced and highly motivated logistics team team that will both support and interface with several on-base agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for receipt, control, registering and filing of all RTP documentation relating to Logistics.

The Logistics Planner will join the Electrical and Mechanical Supply Group team, supporting the Supply Control and Accounting Flight with the control of RTP paperwork. Candidates should be enthusiastic and self-motivated, possessing excellent communication and team working skills. An awareness of on-base operations, certified training on MJDI stores accounting system, and paperwork, is desirable but not essential, however good attention to detail and a proven background in logistics and stores management is essential. The successful candidate will be confident and capable of independent problem solving and developing solutions to various detailed working level problems and applying these within the workplace.

The Individual

  • A Logistics background, preferably on an MOD establishment.
  • Documentation control, specifically from MOD processes.
  • Familiarity with aircraft components.
  • Good team working skills with an ability to work alone when required.

Additional Information


- 5 days p/wk (Mon-Fri) around relevant site core hours (7.30am - 4.30pm Mon - Thurs, 7.30am - 12pm Fri).

Candidates should be aware that this position may involve shift work

Nightshift pattern (if required) Days: 07:30 till 16:00hrs and Nights: 16:00 to 02:00hrs
