The position offers an excellent opportunity to join a faced paced and highly motivated logistics team that will both support and interface with several on-base agencies. The successful candidate will be responsible for receipt, control, registering and filing of all Reduce to Produce (RTP) documentation relating to Logistics.

Working in conjunction with other support elements and functions, the Logistics Planner will join the Electrical and Mechanical Supply Group team, supporting the RAF Supply Control and Accounting Flight with the control of RTP paperwork. Candidates should be enthusiastic and self motivated, possessing excellent communication and team working skills. An awareness of on-base operations, certified training on the RAF provided MJDI stores accounting system, and paperwork, is desirable but not essential, however good attention to detail and a proven background in logistics and stores management is essential. The successful candidate will be confident and capable of independent problem solving and developing solutions to various detailed working level problems, and applying these within the workplace.

WORKING HOURS - 5 days p/wk (Mon-Fri) around relevant site core hours (7.30am - 4.30pm Mon - Thurs, 7.30am - 12pm Fri).

- Hours required to work per week are 37.00 unless otherwise stated (this does not include lunch breaks).

- Start and finish times to be agreed with local Line Management, in accordance with local site core hours. - Lunch break allowance is 30 minutes between 12.30 - 1:00pm (or as agreed with Line Manager). 30 mins will automatically be deducted each working day by the electronic time management system.

- Dependant on workload, local management may request more or less hours are worked within this contract.

The successful Supply Chain Logistics Planner will need to be able to demonstrate experience of working in a faced paced supply chain. They will also need to demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and oral, showing strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Good attention to detail and an awareness of MJDI paperwork, Engineering Record Cards and RAF serviceable and unserviceable labels would be an advantage. They will be responsible for the receipt, control, registering and filing of all RTP documentation relating to Logistics.
