An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a large aerospace company within their Manufacturing Logistics team for a Logistics Planner to support the team in the Advanced Forming and Fabrications facility.
We are looking for an experienced manufacturing logistics professional with a proven ability to work as a contributing member of the team to support delivery in a manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager in the facility, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:-
- Management of the ERP system to enable delivery of materials, parts, and tooling to the point of use, when required.
- Monitoring and expediting parts through the system
- Ensuring all logistics activities are within governance guidelines
- Control of receipts and shipments leaving the facility
- Use of EAM & InforLN Toolsets
The opportunity requires the jobholder to be capable in the use of company manufacturing systems (e.g. BaaN, InforLN, etc), and MS Office packages (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) as well as being a confident communicator both orally and written.
Candidates should be enthusiastic and self motivated and able to work together with others to solve day to day problems and develop long term solutions to improve processes and common practices within the manufacturing logistics environment.
