Job Title: Logistics Administrator
Location: Portsmouth
Duration: 3 months
Hours: 37
Pay: £9.70 per hour PAYE

Purpose of role:

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator for our client in Portsmouth. The purpose of the role is to provide Logistics administrative support to International Support Programmes to ensure timely, accurate identification and delivery of material to support the customer contractual requirements. Liaises with 3PL, BAE Project teams, BAE Engineering teams, Procurement teams and End customers as appropriate.

Main Responsibilities:

-Produce accurate and detailed information for manifests and shipping documentation to aide accountancy clearance/acceptance.
-Manage workload to achieve pick and despatch in line with Customer KPI's
-Maintain documentary security of ITAR Stores
-100% response of Despatch requirements
-Timely creation of reports and statistics for management reviews.
-Ensure Import/Export requirements are met and complied with.
-Monitor and review Despatch progress to ensure customers KPI and or expectation are met.
-Comply with SHE processes and policy.
-Office inspections (ROTA system)
-100% attendance at all training.
-Introduce a right first time culture.
-Compliance to BMS procedures and processes & FCF Requirements.
-Complete accurate daily project bookings.
-To provide proficient Customer service and build valuable Internal/External Customer relationships.

Skills and Experience:

-Experience of working in a busy administration function
-Proficient in the use of MS Office / Excel and willing to learn MOD / SAP in house operating systems. -High level of data accuracy and ability to analyse, maintain and produce high level issue detail to the various stakeholders
-Good understanding of KPI statistics within own area of work and how this impacts on others
-Understand and work towards complete customer satisfaction  Understand level of service agreements for own dedicated customers
-Work towards building a good working relationship with all stakeholders to ensure we provide the highest level of customer service
