LGV Driver / Depot Coordinator (Class 2, ADR) - Liverpool - Temp to Perm

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Sales & Redistribution Centre Manager, the Sales Centre/Gastaxi Administrator position is responsible for the management of a Gastaxi Operation(1 person site) or Sales Centre (up to 3 people site with a cylinder collection facility) in an efficient manner in accordance with all safety, quality and service standards applicable within the Sub-Region Merchant organisation.

These responsibilities include dealing with Customer Orders and Enquiries, scheduling Customer Deliveries and dealing with Collect Customers. There is also a commercial aspect to this role in the form of gathering commercial information and following up where applicable. The position will also have responsibility for the operation of the site, ensuring operational compliance as well as O'Licence compliance, including responsibility for the maintenance schedules for the Large Goods Vehicles and Forklift on site. There is also a requirement to operate a Large Goods Vehicle for the delivery of Cylinders to Customers as well as a Forklift in the sorting and picking of orders for Customers.

Key interfaces include the Agent Support Team, Asset Management Team, FAS Team, Merchant Administration Team, Customer Services, Commercial Team and Credit Control to ensure alignment on best practices and commonality of approach, as well as with the other members of the Sales & Redistribution Centre Organisation. Accordingly success in the position is dependent on Strong Interpersonal Skills, Ability to Manage a small site, Organizational Skills, Operational/Technical Capacity and some Commercial Acumen.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Ensuring Company's and Legislative Safety Standards are complied with and maintained at all times on site.
2. Management of all Customer orders placed for the delivery/collection of Cylinders from the Sales Centre / Gastaxi using Agents Plus Application
3. Picking, Sorting and Loading of Cylinders for Customer Deliveries
4. Operation of LGV in the delivery of Cylinders to Customers
5. Operation of Forklift in the loading of vehicles for Customer Deliveries
6. Coordinating Cylinder Stock Holdings / replenishment in line with the Asset Management Team
7. Managing Site Inventory
8. Managing the Maintenance and Operation of Cylinder Delivery Vehicle in line with O Licence Requirements
9. Maintaining a high standard of Housekeeping at all times
10. Supervising the activities of the Sales Centre Assistants
11. Coordinating all of the administrative activities on site, raising any safety, customer or cost issues which may compromise site operations.
12. Ensuring that all local level costs are paid in a timely manner.
13. Ensuring Basic Safety Books are up to date and that all personnel on site are completing mandatory activities.
14. Acting as Emergency Controller for the site.
15. Dealing with Customers, following up on enquiries, supplying leads to the commercial team.
16. Stewardship of Customers, reporting of Competitor Activity
