Would you like the chance to own a product; supporting, developing and ultimately delivering the projects? If so, we would love to hear from you!

Morson International are currently recruiting for a Lead Electronics Engineer to work for a large engineering business in Stafford. As Lead Engineer, you will lead the development and support of an assigned product, becoming the expert, guru, and go-to for anything and everything related to it. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the product life-cycle from bids and proposals, design and supporting the production team - this is a very diverse role!

As Lead Engineer you will:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of your assigned product;
  • Carry out design work for analogue and digital systems;
  • Support in bids and proposals for your assigned product;
  • Compile technical documentation to support with bids, design, work instructions etc.;
  • Support in integrating systems with your knowledge of the materials and mechanics that are needed;

To be successful in this role you will have a generous amount of electronic design experience, having worked across the life-cycle of a product before. It is essential in this role that you have knowledge of analogue electronics design and a basic understanding of data communication networks as these will both form part of your day-to-day role. Most importantly, you will have the desire to learn; from the product range, capability and background sciences associated with it.
