One the UK's most iconic and long-standing brands are looking to grow their team with a talented Lead Data Scientist. We're helping the team find a strategic and hands-on Data Scientist to help deliver meaningful insights through pricing that will shape future decision making across the business.
You'll work as part of hugely customer focused business, working alongside 19,000 colleagues, putting the customer first and making a difference will be at the focus on what you do as a Data Scientist.
The successful Lead Data Scientist will also me given full autonomy to drive their work using predictive modelling methods the way they see fit to get the most out of the function, a true example of implementing your own ideas to drive profitability within a business.
As a Data Scientist you'll also work along side an established and collaborative Data Science team you will learn and grow from, with further training and development across the wider business on offer too.
- Understanding actuarial pricing techniques
- Knowledge of R or Python with good knowledge of SAS, SPSS or Stata
- Preparatory exploration, manipulation & Analysis
- Understanding of principles and concepts underpinning consumer pricing
- Be able to think commercially
For the right Data Scientist on offer will be a base of around £85,000 - £90,000, substantial car allowance, up to 35% bonus (which is realistic, with proven examples of people receiving this) and a market leading pension is on offer
