L &D Coordinator; Location: Preston; Duration: 6 Months; Hours: 37 per week
Pay: £11.50 PAYE per hour or £14.25 LTD per hour
We are looking to recruit a Learning and Development Coordinator to be based at our client's site on the outskirts of Preston. The L&D Co-ordinator is responsible for the provision of support services i.e. determining with the demand/supply and scheduling of training interventions, data management associated with training activities including course loading and financial analysis and the production of training support material
Areas of Responsibility
Support the activities to determine the Demand and Supply of training interventions
Assist in the scheduling of the Training Schedule for 2018 including Mandatory training
Support the training administrative activities required to interact with Shared Services and External suppliers
Undertake analysis of training data and produce training packs for presentation to
Undertake analysis of financial date associated with training including budgets, actual spend and estimate to completions. Provide packs for presentations to Managers
Act as Co-Ordinator for AM&S training interventions including On Boarding
Administer the On Boarding and mailboxes
Support the development and refresh of the AM&S DY Annual Training brochure in connection with solutions offered by internal and external training providers
Secretariat to the L&D Meetings
Assist with the recruitment of Interns and Graduates
Support the implementation of the functional competency measurement tool
Academic & Trade Qualifications
Level 3 Qualification in a Business-related subject
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Basic or Intermediate)
Training Qualification and/or CIPD Membership
Microsoft Office (Advanced)
Work Experience & Skills
A leaning, development and training background coupled with a good appreciation of the commercial/business processes within large corporate organisations
Good communication skills both written and oral ability to present effectively
Ability to work with others
Commercial & financial awareness
Customer focused approach
Understanding of Company and Customer processed and procedures
Understanding of Aircraft Maintained & Support environment
