Junior SQL DBA wanted for contract role in Winfrith, Dorset.

Suitable candidates will need to be eligible for SC clearance.

Role Overview

* Maintain existing SQL server databases
* Manage, modify and write stored procedures
* Upgrades and backups of SQL databases
* SQL database architecture design
* Configure and maintain database servers and processes with an aim to ensure high levels of performance, availability and security
* Assist the development team with query tuning and sharing of technical expertise
* Support the apps development team where applicable
Knowledge, skills and personal qualities required:
* Strong SQL database administration skills
* Windows Server technologies
* Powershell
* SSRS / SSIS desirable but not essential
