Morson International are pleased to be working with our Client who are looking for JIB Approved Electricians to work on Water Treatment Plants in Norfolk.
Your role will include, but will not be restricted to the following:
Installing and maintaining a wide range of electrical apparatus and associated ancillary equipment.
This will include servicing and maintaining control instruments, installation and maintenance of water related pumping plant including a variety of motor starters, PLC's & lighting, test and inspect will also be key responsibilities for this role.
Qualified to BS7671 18th Edition Electrical Regulations BS7671 Inspection, test & verification, Electrical Installation 2360 parts1 & 2 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation. Electrical engineering apprenticeship together with 2 years experience in the water/ associated industries.
On day 1 there will be an induction (EUSR Blue Card) held at each location. The Electricians will be paid for each hour of the course.
Hours of work: 8am - 6pm Mon to Thurs (Paid 9.5hrs per day with half an hour lunch break unpaid) 8am - 1pm Fri (Paid 5hrs)
Minimum hours per week 40 but will be able to work up to 48
PPE - Will be provided by the Client with the exception of Prescription Glasses. Electricians must have Hand Tools. Power Tools will be provided.
Electricians will 'Buddy Up' with our Clients own employee's and will work with that person after the induction.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 48 hours per week and these roles will commencing early November for approx. 6 months may be for longer.
It is desirable that candidates hold a Blue Card in Water Hygiene, however full training (1 day) will be provided for Electricians without the Blue Card.
