Main Job Function: Provide leadership and oversight to the team performing integration, verification and validation activities. The responsibilities include the planning and execution of the of the test program in collaboration with other members of the project team, the Program Manager and Site Manager for the project, and the Engineering Manager.


Primary Job Responsibilities:

* Perform planning, execution, reporting and oversight activities as the leader of the assigned test program, including the analysis of test results to be fed back to Design teams
* Ensure that all testing activities performed by Client personnel and subcontractors follow the company's engineering process, and quality and safety policies and procedures
* Interface to the customers on application projects as client's technical Subject Matter Expert in the testing domain
* Provide technical support in all operational matters in the conduct of Factory, Integration, and Site acceptance and commissioning activities
* Perform acceptance and commissioning tests at the customer's sites
* Coordinate the investigation of system anomalies through analysis of data files, design documentation, and interaction with development departments

Job Requirements and Essential Skills:

* Experience leading task planning, performance, tracking, and reporting, including demonstrated success in delivering projects to the allocated schedule and budget
* Experience in testing activities in both a lab and a field site environment strongly preferred
* Excellent organization-organizational cations skills, both verbal and written (English,) and good interpersonal skills
* Experience in a rail transit installation, test or support environment or similar technology application is strongly preferred
* Flexibility to take on additional responsibilities and adapt to changes in priorities, including night and weekend work
* Periodic travel within North America (10-30%, dependent on project phase)


Environmental Conditions:

* Most work is sedentary in an office environment, however, Site work will include work outside and work in confined spaces
* Work will include some night and weekend activities based on facilities availability

Education and Experience:

* B.S. Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of technical B.S. degree and work experience
* Experience in the installation and testing of train control systems strongly preferred
* Working knowledge of Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) products a stronCBTCset.
