Morson International are working with a global consultancy who are looking for an ITSM Tools Specialist to join their team in Strasbourg. This is an initial 3 months contract with possibility of renewal.

Description:

- Configure, tailor, and administer IT Service Management (ITSM) tools (e.g. Microsoft System Center Service Manager, HP Service Manager 9) to meet the needs of the various ITSM processes
- Provide in-depth technical planning, designing, and administering of the ITSM suite of applications
- Migrate, Test, identify and correct defects
- Integrate with System management products and vendor supplied Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
- Provide leadership in recommendations based on best practices and experience in service management
- Analysis, problem solving and understanding of interactions and dependencies across IT systems
- Very good knowledge and experience in grasping the technical requirements and designing (in collaboration with the stakeholders) a suitable network architectural solution (LAN/WAN)
- Microsoft Windows Server based environments and Active Directory configurations
- Microsoft Exchange and VMware interventions and support
- Improving system infrastructure functions and service delivery regularly
- Prioritizing incidents, requests and changes
- Developing and improving existing processes


Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of relevant education (bachelor or equivalent) after the secondary school
- Minimum 6 years of IT professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medium to large scale implementations of ITSM tools
- Configuration and development experience with Service, Incident, Problem, Service - Catalogue, Request, and Change Management modules in a Service Management tool
- Working knowledge of best practices and of the functionality provided by an out of box system
- Knowledge of:
- Microsoft System Center Service Manager 2019 (SCSM) - Ability to maintain , upgrade and monitor SCSM infrastructure, to opening/closing/handling of tickets and centralized deployment of software and updates
- System Center Orchestrator 2019
- Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and above
- Microsoft Exchange 2016
- Active Directory (AD) / DNS / DHCP Management
- Email and antispam systems
- Network Access Server (NAS) and Distributed file systems
- Replication & Disaster recovery
- Monitoring systems (configuration, customisation) using SCOM
- Virtual servers : VMware ESX (would be an asset)
- Experience in managing highly available environments and multiple site support
- ITIL/ITIL V3 Foundation Certification
