Morson International are currently recruting for a Invetnory Optimisation Planner to work on a 12 Month contract for their prestigious client.
As an Inventory Planner, you will be required to effectively work as part of a wider team working closely and collaborating with dependency functions such as Fleet planning, Project management, support teams, maintenance operations, procurement and other members of the overall supply chain solution
This role will be responsible for inventory forecasting & planning of various asset requirements across a range of products
Your main responsibilities as an Inventory Planner will involve:
Understanding usage and future inventory requirements using systems and a range of data to ensure the supply chain maintains appropriate balance and levels of repairable, spares and consumable assets to meet the requirements of aircraft maintenance plans and schedules.
Recognising and understanding future inventory needs balanced against inventory holdings and purchase orders taking into account manufacturing and supply lead-time, cost and budgets positions and lifing requirements.
Effectively triggering provision/re-provision of spares& repair purchase order requests to meet minimum balance requirements,fleet plan and customer required delivery dates.
Understanding and ensuring performance targets for cost and minimum balance levels are achieved efficiently whilst continually working to optimise existing inventory under your control
Effectively forecast and manage excess and obsolete stock holding undertaking appropriate disposal activity.
Understand asset lifing and overhaul requirements and effectively plan and manage forecasted requirements to ensure minimal impact to aircraft maintenance.
Liaison with back office team to maintain high levels of data alignment/integrity between all Supply Chain data toolsets and order books.
Generation and delivery of performance indicators for range of assets managed within Supply Chain.
