Internal Recruiter: Permanent: West Ruislip based with hybrid working available: Paying £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + Car/Car Allowance + Benefits

Morson have been enlisted to support our leading construction client in their search for a proficient and engaging Internal Recruiter to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Recruitment Manager, the Internal Recruiter will join a small and highly collaborative team of 3 and will be responsible for providing the highest quality recruitment service across White Collar Engineering, Construction and Infrastructure roles, supporting staffing requirements for the largest infrastructure project in Europe, the HS2 London Tunnels Contract.

The Internal Recruiter will manage all end-to-end recruitment duties from screening, interviewing, referrals, negotiating, to making job offers. Working with hiring managers and business leaders, The Internal Recruiter will guide hiring managers on recruitment strategy and market insights; identifying, attracting and managing relevant candidates based on open positions, anticipating future recruitment needs and proactively finding and developing talent pools.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with various Talent Acquisition techniques and will possess high level communication skills coupled with a desire to build strong internal relationships. In addition to this, the Internal Recruiter will also be required to:

  • Arrange interviews and gain CV / interview feedback from hiring managers
  • Attend and contribute to resourcing meetings
  • Assist in delivering Fair Recruitment & Selection Training for hiring managers.
  • Directly source high calibre talent at pace and volume for roles such as Site Engineers, Site Managers, Works Coordinators, Planners etc. using a variety of resources such as job boards, and LinkedIn recruiter
  • Provide accurate and proactive reporting and insights to the business
  • Be a brand ambassador for the organisation, always providing a high-quality candidate experience

This is a high volume, fast paced role where the role holder will manage 30 live vacancies with various stakeholders. A background in high volume recruitment is therefore essential, ideally gained from an engineering, infrastructure or construction environment, as well as the below skills/attributes:

  • An organised approach and effectively managing your time across multiple recruiting priorities working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ATS is essential
  • Strong inter-personal skills and an ability to influence at a senior level
  • The personal resilience to manage challenges
  • Curiosity and desire for continuous improvement
  • Ideally degree qualified or equivalent
  • Some technical knowledge of the industry would be beneficial although not essential.
