Internal Communications Manager; Based in Crawley, 12-month Contract; £466 limited per day
We are currently recruiting for an Internal Communications manager, to be based at our client's site in Crawley. This role focuses on providing internal communications strategic advice, guidance, planning and delivery of our client's UK Internal Communications strategy and effective deployment of all internal communications in the UK to support the achievement of organisational Strategy, Commitments, Performance Plan and Financial Targets. Successful delivery in this role will evolve & deliver the internal communication strategy which is designed to influence employee behaviours and generate great engagement & involvement creating the environment where employees give their best each day, always go the extra mile for customers and are motivated to contribute to the success of the organisation
This individual is a specialist in internal communications and can apply effective strategic communication advice, guidance & planning aligned to business priorities to influence employee behaviour and create employee engagement & advocacy. In addition, they are experts in all internal communications channels, tactics and measurement.
Key Accountabilities are:
Provide Communications strategic direction, advice, guidance & management to unlock employee's discretionary effort and enable business performance through great engagement & involvement
Influence employee behaviour and create a culture of dialogue through collaborative, conversational f2f interventions
Proactively create and deliver engaging and dynamic content themed to the overall company story through appropriate communications channels
Provide communications best practice, creative ideas, latest techniques to ensure continuous improvement
Effective measurement & reporting.

Senior Leadership business partnering.
An in-depth knowledge of internal communications disciplines, change communications and BAU communications activities.
Demonstrable experience of understanding business requirements and translating these requirements into an annual rolling internal communications strategy and implementation programme that supports (and flexes with) these requirements.
Ability to deliver within an allocated budget.
Proven ability to recognise a newsworthy story and deploy the relevant tactics to optimise its impact.
Proven writing ability for digital, print, and briefings, for a range of internal stakeholders.
Strong, demonstrable project management skills.
Strong, demonstrable team working and best practice sharing skills.
Willingness to work in one aligned multi-functional Communications team with a common vision and purpose.
Creation of annual delivery programmes that translate and make relevant Group, UK and CBU activity, ensuring timely, on budget delivery.
Tactical delivery, often through others
Communications channel development.
Qualifications Required are:
Bachelor's degree in English, Internal Communications / Employee Engagement, Journalism, Public Relations or related Communications field.
Communications and/or marketing post graduate qualification.
Multilingual abilities (specifically French)
