MAG is an exciting environment with multiple billion pound investment projects currently being delivered whilst enjoying a strong period of growth and change.
We are currently looking to recruit an Interim Accountant to work within the Finance Shared Services Department on a Pay Improvement project for a 3 month contract starting towards the end of November 2019.
Main responsibilities in this contract:
* Making payments and posting to appropriate GLs
* Payroll journals
* Reconcile payments against payroll journals
* Month end activities
* Payroll reconciliations
* Looking at over payments
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant who can hit the ground running making an immediate impact, a working knowledge of SAP is also essential in order to be successful in this contract. Whilst the main areas of focus will be on this specific project, you may be asked to get involved in other activities in the wider finance team.
You must also have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and work with stakeholders and staff at all levels of the organisation, exposure in a finance shared service environment would be beneficial but not essential.
