We are looking for an INTEGRATED PLANNER for a Project within the Nuclear Industry based at Sellafield.

This can be worked on a hybrid basis, between home and office.

Initial Contract duration circa 12 months. Inside IR35.

The successful Candidate can start with BPSS security clearance which will be applied for if not already held. SC Clearance will then be applied for once BPSS is approved.


Integration Scheduler / Planner is accountable for development of work delivery integrated plan for the facility at strategic, tactical and operational levels, ensuring all work across a facility is delivered to time and quality standards.

The role requires a confident person with experience of delivering work across complex facilities as they will be responsible for dealing with multiple stakeholders at all levels to resolve scheduling conflicts.


Responsible to the Integration Manager for providing schedule performance information and supporting the Facility work integration managers in developing schedules for the facility.

Engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure understanding of programme requirements and dependencies.

Responsible for engaging with plant operations and maintenance teams to support and direct the implementation of the work schedule.

Responsible for engaging with Project Management community to ensure and advise on inclusion of project planned activities in the integrated planning process.

Responsible for identify schedule conflicts, movement in schedule and escalation to the Facility Work Integration Managers.

Support the Integration Lead on driving improvements across the business relating to Integrated Planning and Outage Management.

Responsible for providing scheduling analysis to the Integration Lead, Plant Manager, Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, Technical Support Manager, to enable reporting on performance.

Preparation of reporting for Lead Team.


Ensure that all duty of care requirements to allow all work to be undertaken are established.
Delivery of projects, programs and technical work


Development and delivery of the deconflicted integrated programme.


Oversight of resources, equipment allocation across the facility, to ensure that all resources are fully engaged, such that effectiveness is maximised



Experience and understanding of Integrated Planning and Outage Management.
Experience of working with Planning Software (Primavera P6 / MSP).
Experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels to resolve conflict.
Experience of identification of risks.
Evidence of problem-solving skills at an operational level.
Ability to understand business needs and their influence on programme delivery.
Competent in Microsoft Office Packages (Word / Excel / PowerPoint).
Good verbal and written communication.
Capable of working without supervision to ensure correct decision making.
Drive, determination, confidence, enthusiasm and a willingness to propose alternatives to established approaches.
Ability to take on responsibility and use initiative to prioritize and work effectively under pressure.
Customer centricity – strong customer focus both internal and external.
Strong team working, able to work with various internal teams to achieve objectives.
