Morson International are currently recruiting Course Designers for our client based at RAF Coningsby.
The successful applicant will be responsible for designing a sustainable and fully Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) and will be required to develop Maintenance Level 2/3 (ML2/3) training products across the full range of Typhoon aircraft and support.
As a Course designer your main responsibilities will involve:
- Providing support for Course Design Lead in the design, development and introduction of new ISPEC's and ASPEC's (Instructor Specifications and Assessment Specifications)
- Ensuring technical accuracy / currency training material Ensuring ISPEC's and ASPEC's reflects current maintenance practice
- Ensuring ISPEC's and ASPEC's enhances the learning process
- Be an active participant in the customer review meetings in either a supporting or chairing role dependant on the specific customer training review activity
- Liaising with Configuration/Change Management and ensuring any potential changes to the training program are implemented
- Working closely with the customer and industry to devise and establish a training approval (DAOS, MAOS) philosophy along with developing the necessary support meetings structure
- Responsibility for reporting back progress and issues within the depth training development
- Instigated new policy documentation to support training within the workplace
- Supporting the TTF Manager to ensure that the team operates within the established contractual framework and in particular, that the service meets contractual performance
- Supporting Programme Management during the strategy and planning phases, including initial SRP scoping and requirement capture activity
As a Course designer your qualifications and experience will ideally include:
- Avionics, Mechanical or Weapons Technician with a minimum of 5 years Fast Jet experience
- On / Off aircraft experience is essential for this position
- Delivery or design of training material Experience of technical publications
- The ability to interpret the quality and technical accuracy of the resources used to support and enhance training development
