Morson International are currently looking to recruit a number of Instructional Systems Designers for one of our Aerospace/Defence Clients based in Yeovil, Somerset. These are contract positions for 6 months initially.
Reporting to the Training Project Lead, the Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) is responsible for:
1. Designing, developing, managing, conducting and evaluating custom technical training materials, assessments and programmes.
2. Assisting with cost-benefit analyses and preparing and presenting reports regarding the development implementation and evaluation of training programmes and curricula.
3. Providing complete training instruction and guidance in the performance of instructional system design tasks.
4. Assisting in the evaluation of new instructional strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional systems design, development and delivery for internal and external customers.
Applicants will ideally have previous knowledge of:
Instructional systems design of instructor-led training and distance learning, preferably within the aerospace industry.
General knowledge of and some experience in the application of the Ministry of Defence Joint Service Publication 822, Defence Direction and Guidance for Training and Education.
Preferably familiar with rotary and/or fixed wing aircrew, groundcrew, mechanical and avionics systems.
