The Infrastructure Development Lead will act as the intelligent client for the technical development of the feasibility study for NPR, across rail corridors and city station hubs, ensuring that the design and development of the NPR programme meets the needs of partners, various stakeholders and the strategic aims of the Strategic Transport Plan. In the role you will ensure the timely delivery of the study programme, identify opportunities to integrate to other major transport programmes, backed with the rigor of technical reports and research.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring partner and stakeholder engagement across multi discipline programmes of work, influencing continuous improvement and implementing an appropriate toolkit to manage actions, risks and decisions.

You will have proven experience in the technical development and delivery of major rail infrastructure programmes. You will possess previous experience of working in partnership with the Department for Transport, Network Rail and other national agencies to deliver similar programmes or studies. Experience of successful transport strategy and policy development and implementation you will also possess the ability to influence and persuade governance bodies, stakeholders, partners, clients and suppliers to understand the aims, objectives and requirements of the Partnership.
