Fantastic opportunity with prestigious client, this role is to be performed with a 50/50 split of on site and remote.

Information Manager -


Contribute to the effective management of documents and information throughout its life cycle, in liaison with business areas:
Evaluates adequacy of existing document and record management and reference processes and tool
Evaluating existing information management policies and developing remedies for problems.
Ensure that records and information conform to applicable processes, procedures and working practices
Identify gaps, challenges, improvements opportunities
Promote awareness and use of policies, procedures and tools
Provide support to define the document life cycle of the Institution
Contribute to the development and refinement of records management solution
Contribute to standardisation activities, for example with regard to metadata, document templates, reporting
Consult with clients to design and implement records management and information governance programs and best practices.
Be a subject matter expert capable of explain to management the information and process management with examples on best practices
Design, document, and implement document and records management and information governance best practices.


Bachelor Degree in IT or related field with a minimum of years of professional IT experience
Proven experience using enterprise-wide content management tools in an information-intensive international or national government organisation
Proven experience providing advice/guidance to users in order to ensure information management working practices are followed
Knowledge of records management principles and practices
Knowledge of information management, archival, record keeping and record disposition.
Ability to handle peaks of workload by self-organisation and management of priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Strong service and customer focus
Experience in information retrieval, taxonomy management, or digital preservation.
Very good written and spoken English is required
