MAIN PURPOSE (Briefly state the job's overall objective)
To handle customer orders, stocks and product movements in an accurate and timely manner ensuring that the customer's needs are fully met, on time, in full and that business reporting and stock requirements are also met.
COMPLEXITY OF THE JOB e.g. The occupant manages vendors from different geographical regions with various financial and legal conditions, level and impact of decisions the occupant needs to make.
The occupant will deal with EU customers, distributors and other service providers from many different countries and is therefore required to be confident when dealing with different cultures. Some basic decisions will be made but the occupant will have the support of a Team Leader, Regional Sales Managers who will make the more strategic decisions
Process customer orders through to invoicing/debt collection and keep the customer informed of progress
Liaise with Account Managers to ensure that customers needs are met and agreed pricing policy is implemented.
Ensure customer enquires/complaints are handled efficiently and effectively
Comply with the various country regulations so that customers are able to import product without encountering problems, whilst ensuring 100% compliance with EU legislation.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (To perform satisfactorily in this job what types of experience is required?)
Experience in B2B customer facing role
Experience of SAP
Strong interpersonal Skills
