The successful candidate will bring solid experience and knowledge to provide internal stakeholders with support on Indirect categories such as the provision of Facilities Management (hard and soft), Security and SHE Services.
The main activities are:
* Produce RFPs from customer requirements then lead & manage UK tenders
* Lead negotiations with suppliers to maximise value for money, delivery and quality
* Develop contracting methodology with use of templates to draft, negotiate and gain supplier & internal signoff of contracts
* Manage internal customer's requirements & expectations often with shorter than agreed lead-times
* Challenge customer's sourcing decisions where supplier quality or integrity is in question and/or cost is unacceptably high
* Play a proactive lead-role in defining sourcing and negotiation strategies for both planned and ad-hoc requirements
* Manage Supplier reviews with preferred suppliers in conjunction with contract milestones and SLAs
* Conduct supplier risk assessments, ensure NDA's are completed and supplier Ts and Cs are thoroughly reviewed
* Through regular internal customer liaison & engagement, ensure that ISP can influence sourcing strategies
* Provide executive summaries and detailed briefs for senior management reviews, including detailed risk analysis and recommendations at gate reviews
* Manage saving initiatives and approve with Finance to achieve agreed targets
* Conduct market research to inform and educate the internal customer, identify business opportunities to improve services and/or cost, whilst identifying innovation
* Raising, maintaining and managing Request for Quotations, Purchase Orders and outstanding order book in an effective and timely manner

Additional Job Details: * Competent in drafting contracts and framework agreements from templates by identifying the risks associated with each tender/negotiation activity * Good understanding of contracting terms & conditions including an appreciation of IPR & LD clauses, legal clauses, not just pricing / SLA's * Understand, experienced & competent in leading a tender activity * Excellent team building skills, able to promote and encourage co-operation within a team * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Proactive approach / self-starter * Excellent negotiation/influencing skills * IT skills in terms of data analysis, manipulation and presentations * Ability to operate within a European cultural framework * Understanding of category and external marketplace * UK travel maybe occasionally required
