Job Specification - HSQE Assistant

Line Management Responsibility

None

Key purpose of role

To assist the HSQE team in meeting regulatory compliance and maintaining ISO standards

Key tasks

1. Assist the HSQE Director and Quality Manager in administrative duties

2. Produce weekly and monthly accident reports, incident updates, meeting minutes and audit reports

3. Produce monthly HSQE Board reports

4. Assist in the production of Quarterly HSQE bulletins

5. Gather data and produce the weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual HSQE reports

6. Assist in the arrangement of internal and external audits

7. Maintain the document control process

8. Update policies, procedures and forms

9. Assist in the creation of new documents

10. Maintain an approved suppliers list and associated documentation

11. Maintain records to meet the requirements of the ISO standards, including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001 and BS OHSAS 18001/ISO45001

12. Undertake some internal audits, and support others

13. Assist in the answering of Bid and tender questions

14. Assist in the management of the preventative measures for accidents, incidents and the ISO standards
