Our client provides facilities management, consultancy, project management and a range of specialist services and they are currently looking for a HRBP.

Job objectives and responsibilities

  • Working closely with the business Management Team, the role holder will be accountable for the effective delivery of all aspects of the HR agenda. They will have a strong orientation towards business transformation, ensuring the HR Function adds commercial value to the business' immediate and long term needs
  • Influence the business to ensure consistency, best practice and knowledge sharing in all areas
  • Manage the ER case load for the businesses, identifying high risks to the Lead HR Business Partner
  • Actively support talent management within the business area

Main duties and accountabilities

  • Work as a trusted business partner to the business Management Team, supporting the design and delivery of the People Plan, fully aligned to the Business, C&C and Group Business Strategy
  • Own, deliver and drive the local people plan
  • Provide counsel, direction, advise and support on all HR related matters, to the Senior Management Team and middle management
  • Work with the Business Development team on bids as required and provide support on the end to end process.
  • Lead and manage the employment relations within the business in accordance with statutory and Group policy
  • Ensure the business remains compliant with legislation and best practice within areas of responsibility, e.g. appropriate governance, anti bribery and corruption systems, and strategies for minimising litigation and risk
  • Support any change initiatives in both a strategic and operational capacity, e.g. Reward and Recognition, restructuring and TUPE transfers.
  • Improve and maintain systems and processes within areas of responsibility
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with other functions across the business and with other internal and external stakeholders, including equivalent Group functions
  • Manage reporting to all stakeholders with regards to staffing
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and advisers within areas of responsibility
  • Leverage the HR agenda at management meetings
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by the business Manager and Lead HR Business Partner

You must have experience of working within a similar role and have relevant HR qualification
