The Systems and Data Analyst role is for an experienced analyst with a good understanding of the general operation of the HR function. They will display strong data analytical skills with a desire to continually improve HR policies and standards through a data driven approach.

The role holder will:

* Support HR Governance and Reporting Lead by providing quality datasets that enable them to make recommendations or give solutions
* Disseminate complex data sets ensuring relevant information is available
* Identify and work with the HR team to resolve various HR related issues
* Liaise with other business areas and functions to develop, implement and maintain a common format for data collation, mapping and reporting
* Undertake continuous development of business systems and the data management processes
* Assist the HR team in the progression and moderation of operating policies, guidelines, and systems to encourage best practice within the company
* Carry out HR governance activities as directed by the HR Governance and Reporting Lead and HR Associate
* Carry out HR reporting and reconciliation of HR and Finance systems
* Provide data analysis support to HR Projects
* General administrative duties as required to support the HR Governance and Reporting Lead

* Evidence of a degree in computer engineering or maths/numeracy or equivalent experience.
* Basic understanding of financial processes and procedures
* Data Analysis - Basic, counts, trending, verification and base lining of data sets
* Predictive analysis
* Microsoft Office required above average knowledge - super user of Excel
* Database technologies. Design and implementation, database management / administration
* Report design
* Knowledge of system configuration


* Understands what the HR Integration Projects and Planning Teams objectives are
* Basic understanding of how their own team interacts with the wider HR function
* Understanding how data is used across different areas/functions
