Interim HR Business Partner: 10 Month Fixed Term Contract (maternity cover): Manchester based with remote working available: Competitive pay + car allowance

Morson Talent are thrilled to be exclusively representing the most successful club in English football, the prestigious Manchester United FC, in their search for an engaging and knowledgeable HR Business Partner to join their team on a 10 Month Fixed Term Contract to cover a period of maternity leave.

The HR Business Partner will look after operations and central functions, (circa 4000 headcount) and will be an expert in managing and implementing change programmes. Focusing on a return to normality post lock-down, The HR Business Partner will implement plans for a return of fans to the stadium, playing a pivotal role in changing of contracts from casual to permanent to create more flexibility in the workplace and a better talent pool, whilst also implementing an operating model change.

The role holder will have a modern way of thinking, will be able to suggest and embrace new ways of working and new technologies, be a strong communicator who can build relationships and credibility at all levels and will have an infectious enthusiasm for work and all that HR has to offer.

Additionally, the HR Business Partner will support the delivery of the HR Strategy across the Club, ensuring optimum Operating Models are in place, leading the process to review and enhance Operating Models with a clear understanding of managing risk.

Working with business leaders, the HR Business Partner will ensure plans are in place to support the retention and development of talent within the organisation, identify talent across different levels/grades, implement succession pipelines and focus on Early Talent Programmes. Using HR knowledge and credibility, the role holder will act as HR Expert to provide specialist HR advice and guidance on all generalist areas including Reward; Grading; Talent; Succession and Development.

Experience of successfully managing and implementing change programmes is essential, along with a 'can do' attitude. This role would suit a highly engaging, people centric individual who understands that people are one of the greatest assets in a business. This person will be able to influence at a senior level, and draw from significant experience in people related matters to provide creative solutions to risks and opportunities
