Title: HR Business Partner

Duration: 3 months

Full time: 37 hours per week

Location: Fareham, Hants

Rate: £24.40/hr PAYE or £30.75/hr LTD

Role Description

This key role will be working with a major defence client in Fareham. They are looking for an HR Professional to support them with a major programme of restructure and role evaluation which will run over the next few months.

You will be responsible for developing organisation structures for the proposed organisation in discussion with business stakeholders. You will also be creating role profiles for key roles and reviewing and refining CVs from existing key personnel.


-To review proposed organisation structure and test robustness with relevant person.

-Through a process of questioning, identify key outputs and responsibilities of each role.

-Using both technical and behavioural competency framework map relevant competencies to each role.

-Review draft CVs from key personnel and check qualifications and experience against roles identified, suggesting amendments to ensure consistency and professionalism.

Experience and Qualifications

-CIPD qualified

-Experience in writing and/or analysing job descriptions and person specifications

-Some experience in organisation design would be useful

-Confident to question and challenge

-Can articulate solution from an understanding of others' ideas

-IT literacy

-Good quality written English and attention to detail
