I am currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner to provide compliant and effective HR business partnering, leading and managing the development and delivery of value adding and fit for purpose functional people plans, aligned to the overall HR and People strategy in delivering business goals and objectives.


Role Responsibilities


* Working as a key member of the HR and wider SLT team, driving improved people metrics across the business
* Driving and delivering the effective and robust annual performance and pay review process, ensuring fairness and consistency in approach
* Driving the Wellbeing and Engagement agenda, ensuring the promotion of a healthy, engaged and retained workforce, working in conjunction with Internal Communications Manager
* Driving the talent management and succession planning strategy, ensuring there is a robust talent pipeline in place across the business
* leading and supporting (project dependent) the implementation and embedding of people related projects and initiatives within the business areas, ensuring business goals are achieved


Skills and experience required


* CIPD qualified or equivalent
* Track record of operating at a Business Partner level successfully
* Extensive experience of managing employee relations cases within a fast-paced, customer centric, unionised and regulated environment
* Excellent working knowledge and awareness of employment related legislation and regulation
* Experience in translating business plans into meaningful business areas/functional plans
* Excellent working knowledge of compliance, confidentiality, data protection and security standards and expectations
* Evidence of continual professional development
* Commercially astute
* A proven track record in delivering engagement improvements
* Excellent multiple stakeholder/shareholder management skills
* Experience in change management
* Ability to effectively coach and mentor others
