HR Advisor - Cannock, Staffordshire, Initial 4 Month Fixed Term Contract

Job Summary
To provide a pro-active human resources advice and service and to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and processes, the delivery of a timely and efficient HR service as required by the business to meet their strategic objectives.

Major Job Functions
* Work in association with internal customers and other service providers to deliver timely and efficient HR services. Key areas for HR services and advice/support include recruitment, organisational review, employee relations, redundancy, performance management. The ability to work independently with managers to provide a high-level advice on all HR services and employee relations matters.
* Assist with policy development and undertake research to ensure HR policies, procedures and processes reflect best practice.
* Monitor identified HR processes and procedures and identify areas for improvement.
* Actively maintain a high level of internal communication with internal customers so that they have a full understanding and dedication to HR processes and policies.
* Assist in the development of plans to ensure that HR processes are effectively implemented and services delivered in line with objectives. Dedicatedly work with internal customers providing advice in relation to performance management, including whether that those being assessed have the required skills, knowledge and competencies to do the job and that the appropriate training and development plans are in place.

Knowledge & Experience
* Up to date knowledge of current Employment Law
* Graduate (hons) Grad CIPD or working towards General HR experience including recruitment and employee relations Previous experience of working independently
* A high-level of mobility is required to attend various sites throughout the UK and Ireland where transport will be provided for your use.
