HR Advisor - Manchester - Permanent Position

We are searching for an experienced and HR Advisor to join our client's fast paced and dynamic HR Team. Starting out as predominantly remote working, they will need someone who is able to hit the ground running and isn't afraid to use their initiative.

This role will report in to the HR Business Partner and will offer a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities, often changing on a daily basis. Therefore it will require someone who can keep pace with a hectic work environment and has the ability to deal with shifting priorities.

Candidates will need to have excellent communications skills and the ability to communicate with colleagues and managers at all levels. This is a true generalist role, providing operational guidance in order to enable effective people management across the business.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Responsible for providing stakeholders with guidance and advisory support on employee relations issues including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, TUPE Transfers and redundancy. As well as, on occasion, managing these processes directly.
* Assisting managers in understanding and implementing policies and procedures.
* Providing accurate management information to stakeholders
* Promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the business.
* Managing the review of HR policies & Contracts of Employment to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet legal and regulatory requirements
* Acting as an escalation point for the HR Service Centre
* Supporting the HR Business Partners to design and deliver the annual people agenda.
* Providing line management training, in areas such as performance management, absence management and wellbeing.
* Providing internal and external benchmarking.
* Working with HR Business Partners to support performance review activity, salary review, change management, retention strategies, talent management practices etc.
* Managing ad-hoc HR project work as and when required.
* Undertaking any other reasonable activity in line with the requirements of the role.
