Hr Advisor

Location: London

Contract 12 Month

Purpose of the role:
Manage core business activity with respect to the mobilisation of international employees. Responsible for a specific region and act as a key focal point for Local HR within companies subsidiaries in relation to mobility activities. Participate in HR Management projects.
Senior HR Advisor responsibilities:
 Possesses a sound understanding of the internal development of, monitoring and improvement of the organisation's policies and practices
 Analyse and leverage data to positively influence business strategy and decisions which support various business improvements and or growth initiatives
 Manage HR organizational change processes
 First point of contact for assignees, responsible for assignee mobilisation
 Manage the on-boarding process for employees from the mobilisation stage and through the life-cycle of the assignment(s)
 Demonstrate knowledge across the global mobility field on subjects such as social security, tax, immigration, relocation and assignment management
 When required advise the company policy and apply during mobilisation process
 Initiate and manage internal services
 Initiate and manage external suppliers
 Regularly checks payroll and expenses reports, supplier invoices, in readiness for further management approval
 Build and manage strong working relationships with in-country subsidiary HR contacts
 Maintains data on the mobilisation stages in addition to employee assignment details
 Maintain current knowledge of HR mobility best practises which shall include participating in industry conferences and company approved training courses
Skills and competencies
 Experience in International HR or global mobility management is desirable
 Relevant diploma or degree (International HR Management preferred)
 Substantial and relevant work experience
 CIPD accreditation would be advantageous
 Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
 Fluent in English, other languages would be beneficial
 Broad career interests with an international mind-set
 Demonstrable leadership qualities
 Works on own initiatives with the ability to influence others
 Ability to learn and adapt to changing environments quickly
 Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with people those of differing cultures
 Ability to work independently, effectively and manage change
