Job Purpose

The HR Advisers actively contribute towards the provision of effective and professional HR support to Clients Site covering the full generalist HR remit, providing specialist advice and supporting specific areas

The Adviser will provide the full generalist HR remit, including provision of advice and management of processes relating, but not limited to;

  • Employers relations
  • Attendance management
  • Change management
  • Employment law
  • Organisation development
  • Performance management
  • Recruitment
  • Reward and recognition
  • Succession planning

Key internal and external relations

  • Internally the HR Advisers main interactions will be providing first point HR advice to Line Managers and employees. They will also action pay changes to

Payroll.

  • Externally their main interaction will be with Trade Union Representatives (to discuss potential employee relations issues), local companies (benchmarking exercises) and the Company's legal advisers (for employment law advice)

Experience Required

  • Several years generalist HR experience with Employer Relations
  • Confidently works across all levels of the business and with external contacts
  • Working within a Unionized environment

Qualifications

  • CIPD qualified to level 5 minimum
