Job Title: HR Administrator - Part time
Location: Western Approach, Bristol
Duration: 6 months
Hours: 24 hours per week. Either 3 days per week or shorter hours over 5 days
Rates: On application

We are currently recruiting for a part time HR Administrator to work with a major aerospace client in North Bristol. This key role will run for 6 months and will be responsible for the administration of all human resource activities across the Western Approach site. The role reports directly to the HR Manager.


*General administrative support as requested by the HR Team in line with GDPR
*Responsible for maintenance of records and systems relating to personal data to include recruitment, absences (sickness, maternity, paternity, jury services, etc.)
*Coordinate the on boarding of new starters, including work wear and ensure all induction checklists are completed timely
*Raise all pre-approval requests for all training related costs and ensure costs are accurately captured within the training budget tracker.
*Provide diary and room booking management


*Previous experience in a HR administrative capacity would be an advantage.

*Excellent customer service and the ability to interface with people at all levels
*Good knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft packages
*Experience of using a Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
*Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
*Ability to work on own or as part of a team
*Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
*High level of discretion and diplomacy
*Ability to work under pressure and remain calm
