Health & Safety Professional - Permanent Position based in Cheshire.

We are seeking an experienced, positive and passionate Health & Safety professional reporting to the Head of Operations at one of our chemical manufacturing sites.

As a key member of the site management team, you will use your can do attitude and strong inter-personal skills to develop and deliver the site H&S improvement plan within the framework of the business wide Health & Safety management system, provide advice, guidance, leadership and challenge to enhance a positive safety culture and ensure legislative compliance.

You must have a hands-on approach to delivering the Health & Safety programme and influencing behavioural change.

Significant experience within heavy chemicals, solids handling, steel, cement, and similar heavy industrial industries would be very advantageous, as will significant experience of OHSAS18001.
