Morson International is proud to be working alongside a renowned Nuclear fuel company operating several uranium enrichment plants across Europe and the United States ultimately supplying nuclear power stations in about 15 countries.

Due to their overall successful and project demand, they are now seeking an experienced Health and Safety advisor to embark on a 12 month contract opening.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as part of the SHEQ team, you will play a pivotal part in providing health and safety advice, assessment and monitoring to ensure compliance with relevant legislation for the clients activities and those carried out by contractors. You will have hands on exposure to help design, develop and lead the safety auditing programme whilst leading site incident investigations to root cause and manage the action tracking system.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the role holder will provide health and safety advice to Procurement in the tender process for selecting contractors, services and goods coupled with the development of in-house training courses or advising on the adequacy of externally sourced SHE training, the post holder works in liaison with the Human Resources and Organisational Development (HR&OD) team.

Due to the nature of my clients operation, applicants are expected to be familiar with the operational requirements of COMAH legislation for Tier 1 site. You are also expected to hold a NEBOSH certificate or equivalent whilst holding an overall knowledge of accident investigation training.
