Graduate Electrical and Controls Engineer

Location: Stoke-On-Trent

Hours / shifts: Days role - 08:00 - 16:30

Salary Depending on qualifications and experience circa £35K - £40K+

Currently recruiting for a ambitious HND / Degree qualified Engineer to train and develop into my clients on site Automation Engineer. The successful candidate will have great long term career prospects.

This is a great opportunity for a graduate with manufacturing / Production experience to join a large progressive company - focusing on their automation projects and maintenance across the site.

The Job

  • Working closely with the maintenance teams, Engineering and Production
  • Automation Technical Support - Breakdowns and PMs
  • Project work
  • Calibrating machinery
  • Fault find PLC code, SCADA systems, Fieldbus, ProfiBus, etc.
  • Reading, understanding and updating drawings & Schematics
  • Commissioning purpose built machinery
  • Working with old and new machinery and systems

The Person:

  • Qualified to HND or above - Min
  • Degree Qualified
  • Siemens S7 experience
  • Flexible approach to work tasks / Open to change
  • Health and Safety focused
  • Manufacturing / Production Maintenance background
  • SAP experience (preferred but not essential)
