Job Title: Governance Administrator - Procurement

Location: Chester

Salary: Competitive

Part time - 20 hrs per week

Job overview

Support the administration and management of Procurement governance activities, maintaining accurate data on suppliers and performance to mitigate supply chain risks.

The role provides systems administration and management support to the Procurement Governance Manager to ensure supplier risk management activities are robust, timely and based on reliable data. It involves the management of company systems (including SAP) and any new system capabilities developed to improve the management of supplier risk performance for the company. The role covers all company operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure all supplier data in business systems is accurate and up-to-date and management information on supplier risk/performance is available on request.
  • Makes available supplier risk management data for Procurement Dashboard reporting, and to support category planning/strategic sourcing events.
  • Maintains system capabilities to automate supplier risk performance management
  • Tracks and manages Procurement audit actions and report progress to the Procurement Lead Team.
  • Become an expert user of supplier risk management tools to fully exploit capabilities and train/educate other users to ensure maximum value is gained from systems available to the team.
  • Active contribution to the ongoing development of functional capabilities to ensure value delivery is sustainable in the long term and functional effectiveness and efficiencies is improved on a continual basis.
