Reports to: Global Reward Manager



Purpose of the role:
To manage the definition, communication, negotiation and completion of job offer proposals in line with Company international mobility policies and compensation procedures. To actively participate in projects relating to International Compensation Standards and Benefits.

Key responsibility areas:
* To be responsible for preparing salary proposals to be presented to the management
* To be responsible for describing and negotiating salary proposals and for finalising the offer cycle with new and reassigned candidates
* To provide support in the finalisation of Salary Review/Performance bonus review processes
* To be responsible for the updating of HR and other systems and for filing all documentation
* To support the Compensation and Benefits Team, Resourcing Team, HR Advisors and Global Mobility colleagues with policy interpretation, annual compensation cycles and day to day query resolution
* To take part in projects regarding Business Development, International Compensation Standards and Benefits, Benchmarking and International Mobility
* To actively compare data from external providers and internal policy and parameters in order to benchmark salary levels and benefits
* Ad hoc and administration duties as and when required

Candidate specification:
* Relevant tertiary qualification (university degree in HR or other relevant specialism)
* Knowledge of the principles of compensation for expatriates (e.g. COL - hardship - etc.)
* Experience in Oil&Gas sector (preferable)
* Strong Excel knowledge and experience
* Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
* Fluent English
* Knowledge of Italian advantageous but not required
* Analytical and numeracy skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Organisation, planning and time management skills with ability to meet deadlines under pressure
* Accuracy and attention to details
* Initiative and proactive attitude in solving problems and prioritising workload
* Awareness and appreciation of working within multicultural organisations and work groups
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Demonstrate integrity and confidentiality when dealing with all HR, payroll and benefits issues
* Ability to work in a changing environment
* Familiarity in working with multiple systems (software & databases)
* Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
