Solution Marketing Director - Bonn

Morson International are working with a world leading telecommunications company who are looking for a Solution Marketing Director to join their team in Bonn. My client are paying €125,000 - €150,000 basic, and have a highly competitive OTE on top.

The Solution Marketing Manager will:

- Engage with the key client on major telecommunications solution topics to seek, identify and developing business opportunities.
- Work with Sales, Product Line, Commercial teams, Delivery teams and with local market technical and salespeople to achieve the annual sales, revenue and profit targets.
- Analyze and evaluate operator needs and project feasibility and take the lead to provide solution, recommendation and appropriate response.
- To present presentations and proposals, and deliver demonstrations to customers, initiate workshops, identify solutions and join negotiations with customers.
- This person will be expected to grow the client's relationships within their assigned area to deliver new business and to increase areas of alignment with business development plans, product roadmap and blueprints.
- To grow account market share and successful sale in local market.
- To be shortlisted for key products in the targeted market.
- Ensure that the solutions provided are delivered to agreed quality standards and KPIs.

The successful Solution Marketing Manager will:

- At least 10 years in key account development, product marketing, pre-sale technical experience with key Telecom operator and/or equipment vendor.
- Deep understanding of telecommunications industry, including business trend and/or network evolution trend.
- Expertise in core or bearer networks cross-area expertise is an added advantage.
- Existing relationships within the client highly desired and preference will be given to those who have worked with the client in a similar role.
- Strong presentation skills and good comprehension of customer's requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Ability to work independently and promote company products.
- Fluency in English is a must. Able to travel to various countries globally.
