Our Client is seeking a Framework Manager to work within their New Nuclear and Generation Services business primarily in support of their Project Management Resourcing contract with a key customer in the nuclear sector. This will involve development of customer relations, identifying and responding to customer needs, framework reporting (internally and externally) and continuous improvement activities. Once established there is opportunity to provide support in a similar capability to a second technical services framework contract.

Based in their offices in Gloucester and reporting to the Framework Director, this role will offer challenges and opportunities to those with prior framework management experience while it can also be tailored to suit those wishing to take up their first framework management role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible to the Framework Director for the healthy delivery and commercial functioning of the Framework Contract
  • Ensure Framework plans (e.g. Health and Safety) are in place and being followed
  • Ensure active and positive maintenance/liaison of customer relationships in order to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction for framework outcomes and key performance indicators
  • Meet the specific internal business objectives (revenue and margin) in support of Wood's Short Range Plans
  • Operational lead on the commercial reviews for bids as part of delegated authority
  • Ensuring customer's requirements are adequately specified, understood, can be verified and are deliverable by the organisation
  • Develop proposals, cost estimates with relevant technical and project controls support
  • Support negotiations to secure appropriate contractual cover for the tasks
  • Interfacing and co-ordination with customer
  • Support recruitment and resourcing process by creation of role profiles and interviews
  • Maintenance of the framework resource plans using existing tools and trackers
  • Ensure that processes, procedures and change controls are deployed
  • Comply with all internal and external governance processes
  • Provision of performance information
  • Ensure task project control and forecasting, risk management
  • Highlight and represent client concerns, issues etc. to the Framework Director with mitigation solutions

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience of profit, loss and cash flow management and accountability
  • Reporting - internally (weekly progress tracker, monthly financial reviews) and externally (weekly, monthly, cost reports to the client)
  • Significant demonstrable project delivery leadership experience
  • Awareness of organisational, engineering, relationship management, commercial and supply chain
  • Committed and desire to deliver challenging objectives
  • Experience of project controls and governance processes and procedures
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Good people skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel to several UK locations as required
  • Able to maintain a flexible work schedule
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel, be spreadsheet literate
  • APM Qualified to an equivalence APMP Level D or relevant experience
