Finance Systems Administrator; Portsmouth; £29.36/hr LTD; Contract

Working for our client based in Portsmouth, we are looking for you to act as the local finance systems owner of SAP Financial Systems including MyO and Concur across those business units using SAP.

You will need to manage the integrity of the finance systems data relating to the running and execution of batch jobs/interfaces and problem resolution.

Manage changes and upgrades to these systems in a controlled and secure manner. The provision of advice and guidance regarding coding structures validation and system security.

Your responsibilities will be to ensure the day to day availability and maintenance of SAP, MyO and Concur with liaison with clients where required.

Liaison with other functions to ensure an effective integrated approach exists to change management of financial systems.

Provide advice and guidance on coding structures, validation, parameters and system security in relation to finance systems.

Managing and prioritising requests for systems change and maintenance requests from system users using knowledge and experience of data structures and software capability to implement
Resolving finance systems data and operational problems for all finance users, including but not limited to iDOC errors.

To ensure the integrity of finance data especially relating to interfaces to and from the finance systems. This involves reconciliations, reviewing data loads and investigation of anomalies
To maintain elements included in Concur expenses and MyO time booking systems
Control of access to finance systems and conducting quarterly reviews of systems access
Maintenance of code elements including Nominal Ledger Codes, Cost Centres, Customers, Vendors and ensuring compliance to the Delegation of Authority.

Updating Labour and Overhead rates on the financial systems. Provide a discrepancy daily review of labour bookings between SAP and the MyO time booking system.

Your key technical skills;

Must have excellent IT skills related to ERP systems

You must have a good accounting knowledge to support the business.

Key Interpersonal / Behavioural Skills;

Must be able to influence future finance systems development.
