Finance Reporting Manager; 3-month contract; Based in Bristol.

Our client currently has an opportunity for a Finance Reporting Manager working with the Bristol office
Reporting to the Financial Controller - Resources and a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for the direction and consolidation of current financial reports and forecasts for future business growth. In addition, you will produce monthly reports, analyse results compared to budgets/forecasts and provide ad-hoc reports and analysis. The Reporting Manager will take a lead role in developing the internal processes and reporting to meet the Business Unit requirements. The successful operation of this role is highly dependent upon working closely with both Projects and Resources finance teams.


Consolidation and production of timely and accurate management accounts for DST.
Consolidation and production of timely and accurate budgets, forecasts and strategic plan reports for DST.
DST cash management and forecasting.
Review the financial performance with resource budget holders.
Provide strategic input to the Finance Controller & resource budget holders, with particular focus placed upon the long-term financial trends and cost control opportunities.
Provide all necessary inputs and commentary to the preparation and regular review of the Business Plan and assist in monitoring performance.
Ensure sufficient, timely, accurate and meaningful information for DST are available to the leadership team.
To support DST finance involvement in any finance system related activities within the wider business group.
Lead on the development and improvement of DST reporting.
BPC reporting

Required Skills and Experience / Qualifications

Degree qualified with professional finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
Demonstrable behaviours as an agile & innovative individual, building trust-based relationships.
Understanding of the bespoke engineering manufacturing sector.
Capability and experience of leading change and/or processes in support of the business requirements.
Hands on, deadline driven approach to achievement.
Advanced/Intermediate Excel skills.
Working knowledge of IFS/BPC.
Willingness to travel to other sites as required.
