Title: Finance and Contract Co-ordinator - Surface and Air Transport
Location: Broughton, Chester
Duration: 10 months
Hours: 37 per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance and Contract Co-ordinator at our client site in Broughton, Chester.
This key role is very much financially focussed and will be responsible for capturing all the contractual and procurement requirements for the supply, maintenance and use of various modes of transport across the Broughton plant.
-Liaising directly with Airbus General Procurement in Hamburg regarding operating costs
-End to end processing and management of purchase orders
-Tracking and forecasting of spend (2% accuracy expected against €6m budget over the year
-Devising reports which highlight real-time budget trend risk and opportunities enabling constant re-alignment of budget
-Reporting the direct monthly NPO Limited liability 'actual spend' and the identification and rectification of invoice discrepancies
-Liaising with the Financial Controller to ensure back charges are captured and accrued
-Provide financial information in support of Capex make vs buy projects
-Attend meetings and provide assistance to the FTA licence auditor
-Assist Accounts Payable and act as the main point of contact on site for any contractual queries
-Support the Transport Manager and Project Leaders with daily tasks and queries
-In depth experience as a Finance Assistant along with good knowledge of the contract/procurement process
-Experience of working within transport services
-Strong numerical proficiency with excellent attention to detail
-Able to work accurately in a fast paced environment
-Strong customer focus and able to interact with people at all levels
