My client is currently looking for a facilities operative - post room/porter to join their expanding team on a temp to perm basis in Salisbury Square (London).

Hours: Flexible - 8 hrs between 7.30 am - 6 pm

Role & Responsibilities.
* Manage incoming / outgoing mail and courier services.
* Coordinate mail and deliveries across the site and effectively liaise with building management
* Liaise with courier partners to maintain excellence of service delivery (FedEx, e-courier royal mail etc.)
* Monitor and report usage data and suggest ways to make mail processes and records more effective and efficient.
* Liaise with building security and client security to produce passes for new associates/visitors etc. Ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
* Ensure leavers and lost passes are deactivated from both landlord and client systems within agreed timescale.
* Monitor and maintain consumable stock levels in copier points & meeting rooms (paper, white board pens etc.)
* Manage the daily collection and distribution of deliveries of milk, water, fresh fruit and coffee across the office. Ensuring adequate stock levels always.
* Perform conference room furniture set-ups for meetings and on-site events.
* Check rooms after use, to ensure ready for next meeting.
* Regularly assist with external contractors, e.g. cleaning, catering and the event hosts to ensure events run smoothly
* Liaise with the client during the event to proactively action any last-minute requests
* Carry out daily quality audits of all event spaces, furniture and equipment, logging all issues and ensuring actions are completed on time.
* Ensure accurate and detailed hand over is planned & passed on, if absent from the business.
* Work with the client events team and facilities front of house team ensuring all events are successfully supported.
* Liaise with the client during the event to proactively action any last-minute requests
* Act collaboratively to solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism and service orientation.
* Work as part overall FM team on facilities related tasks including first line fix, post room support, small painting works, and manual handling
* Ad hoc duties from time to time to support the rest of the facilities team
