Job Title: Hard Services Contracts Manager - Facilities Manager

Job Purpose

  • The Contracts Managers role is to oversee the management and performance of third party contractors in line with the agreed KPI's and SLA's, ensuring that the delivery is in line with contractual terms, conditions and performance criteria.
  • You will lead operational discussions and solution implementation to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement without compromising on service delivery standards or compliance.
  • To use financial and operational data provided by suppliers and the Helpdesk facility to carry out monthly performance reviews with suppliers/contractors and to produce monthly reports including safety, financial, environmental, quality and operational performance
  • To oversee the financial and operational data provided

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for delivering KPI's and SLA's for all 3rd party contractors for both planned and remedial works
  • Oversee performance monitoring and reporting
  • Ensure Co-ordination and planning activities are undertaken and reviewed to maximise delivery options and compliance
  • Ensure O&M's and Asset information is correct and up to date at all times
  • To lead operational discussions and solution implementation
  • Promote and drive an innovative approach to achieving objectives, making best use of the latest industry techniques with a view to realising best practice
  • Manage any necessary remedial action when services do not meet the required standard
  • Delivery of continuous improvement, efficiencies and partnering proposals
  • Mange the relationship with our internal stakeholders

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Good technical knowledge of hard services either from an engineering, FM or surveyor background
  • Experience of working client side on a TFM contract an advantage
  • Previous experience applying contract performance measures such as KPI's or SLA's
  • NEC3 contract experience preferential
  • Good working knowledge of Maximo an advantage
  • Understanding of compliance and audit procedures
  • H&S qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH) is advantageous
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Financial awareness with experience of effectively controlling service budget
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and motivate at all levels
  • Organised with a proven record of reporting and information sharing
  • IT literate, able to understand asset management systems and effectively use Microsoft Office
