Morson International has a 12 month contract opportunity for an Expediter. The service will be provided at our Clients Site, Dounreay.

The day rate is £180 to £200/LTD (Negotiable/DOE). Applicants with a main residence outwith a daily commutable distance from Dounreay will receive a T&S allowance of £75 per diem. Flexibility is offered on a Monday & Friday for travelling with the additional options of a compressed working week or a negotiable working cycle

You will be required to support compliance with the Works Control Manual (MAN2003) and LC28 and plan and schedule work packages for DSRL facility, project and/or maintenance teams.

Specific tasks will include but not limited to:

Ensure that all work packs for the facility, maintenance and project teams are approved and completed prior to issue and closed on completion.
Coordinate the distribution of resource to support the task requirements
Support the compilation, undertake and participate in work scope hazard reviews.
Arrange meetings as necessary to co-ordinate the production of work packs
Liaise with the Works Control Schedulers/Coordinators to ensure WWPS is correctly assessed.
Ensure method statements and risk assessments are completed
Coordinate any necessary modifications to work packs
Ensure Permits are updated and recorded appropriately
Perform the responsibilities of Management Appointments relevant to the post

Qualifications:
HNC Engineering or equivalent qualification plus experience

Experience & Desirable Attributes:
3 years Plant/Industrial or equivalent
3 years Site experience
Prepare safe systems of work
Develop solutions for operational problems
Able to demonstrate good organisational and planning skills
A positive approach, self-motivated, assertive and ability to use initiative
